Guidelines

Please be courteous to everyone. Adults can only be one on one with a child who is a member of their family Please do not attend if feeling ill or have any contagious disease. Please do not be disruptive in the classroom or event you are attending. (Initial if you will agree to follow guidelines.)

Code of Conduct

Member families will show thoughtfulness and respect toward every person in attendance. Member families will act in such a way that their words, actions, and appearance honor our Lord Jesus Christ and promote unity and encouragement of our community. Member families will avoid acting in such a way that is considered disrespectful, offensive, immoral, intimidating, or rude. Member families will be responsible for their children’s behavior to ensure they are acting in accordance with this code of conduct. (Initial if you will agree to follow code of conduct)

Dress Code

Parents and students agree to follow the general rule of neat/modest/conservative dress. (Initial if you will agree to dress code.)

Statement of Faith

Hidden Acres is a Faith based organization that seeks to draw people closer to the Creator through its programing. Because of that we want to make you aware of our statement of faith. We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired and the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21) We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(Genesis 1:1, John 10:30, John 10:37-38, I Corinthians 6:19, Galatians 4:6) We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.(Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35, Hebrews 4:15, John 2:11, Hebrews 9:12, Colossians 1:14, John 11:25, Acts 1:11, Revelations 19:11-16) We believe that man is sinful by nature and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and an absolute necessity for his salvation.(Romans 3:19, 23, John 3:16-19, Ephesians 2:18-19, Titus 3:5-6) We believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.(Ephesians 4:30, Ephesians 5:18, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20) We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they who are saved unto eternal life and they who are lost unto eternal damnation. (John 5:28-29) We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.(Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28) We believe in the creation of man by the direct act of God.(Genesis 1:26-28, 5:1-2) In regards to Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen 1:26-27). Rejections of one's biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. Hidden Acres recognizes an individual's gender as that which is denoted on that person's birth certificate as presented from a recognized authority of the State of Texas or other such governing body authorized to issue birth certificates for their citizens. We believe that the term"marriage" has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Gen 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (I Cor 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb 13:4). We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including but not limited to adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest and the use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God (Mt 15:18-20; I Cor 6:9-10). We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of Hidden Acres as a local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model to its supporters and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by Hidden Acres in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, agree to and abide by this Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality, and for people who rent or use our facilities to understand our stance on this issue (Mt. 5:16; Phil 2:14-16; I Thes 5:22) We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Acts 3:19-21;Rm 10:9-10; I Cor 6:9-11; I Jn 1:9). We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mk12:28-31; Lk 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Hidden Acres. (Initial if you understand)

You will be asked to sign this form in order to participate. We will have form available the first day of co-op. Here is the information... I hereby affirm that I have been advised of and understand the risks of camping and recreational activities at Hidden Acres and that such activities involve dangers and risks and I accept those dangers and risks knowingly. I understand that video and pictures are frequently taken at camp. I hereby give permission for Hidden Acres to use photos and videos of my camper for the promotion of Hidden Acres. In addition, I give permission for my camper to be transported in vehicles for camp approved activities requiring transportation at Hidden Acres and other locations. I hereby give permission to Hidden Acres staff to enforce acceptable disciplinary action that may be necessary if my camper commits or attempts to commit any misconduct or unacceptable behavior at Hidden Acres. (Consequences include, but are not limited to, removal from a specific event or time away from the group, notifying parents, and removal from the campgrounds for the safety and wellbeing of other campers as a whole). I understand that the terms herein are contractual. In signing this document, I hereby certify that I give permission to my camper to participate in the camping program of Hidden Acres. I have signed this document as my own free act and in consideration of the agreement by Hidden Acres to accept my camper for the camp program at Hidden Acres. BY EXECUTION OF THIS DOCUMENT, I KNOWINGLY AND WILLINGLY RELEASE HIDDEN ACRES, THE STAFF, THE BOARD, THE VOLUNTEERS AND ALL OTHERS ACTING FOR OR ON BEHALF OF HIDDEN ACRES FROM ALL LIABILITY WHATSOEVER, FOR PERSONAL INJURY, OR INJURIES TO PROPERTY CAUSED BY, OR ARISING OUT OF CAMPING AND OTHER RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES SPONSORED BY HIDDEN ACRES. The person herein described has permission to engage in all prescribed camp activities except as noted. Authorization for Treatment: I hereby give permission to the medical personnel selected by Hidden Acres to order X-rays, routine tests, treatment, and necessary transportation for my child. In the event I cannot be reached in an emergency, I hereby give permission to the physician selected by Hidden Acres to secure and administer treatment, including hospitalization, for my child as named above. (Initial if you understand.)

During the Skholē 2022-2023 Schedule, we will allow Visitor for Two Events Which are the Holiday Craft Fair: on December 3rd, 2022, and the End of Year Celebration and Graduation, on May 6th, 2023.
