Q: Are you associated with a church Denomination?

A: We are a Christian non-denominational camp. We are a non-profit run by a board of directors and staff that attend various churches of differing denominations.

Q: How do I find Out how much it would Cost to Rent the Facility?

A: We have a form where you can estimate the cost for your event but in order to get an exact price you will have to contact our rentals coordinator. You can access the rate sheet by clicking here.

Q: Can I Rent the Facilities for a wedding?

A: Our current policy is that we do not rent our facilities for wedding parties. We only make some exceptions for summer camp staff alumni.

Q: What are your beliefs?

A: We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired and the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:21)

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.(Genesis 1:1, John 10:30, John 10:37-38, I Corinthians 6:19, Galatians 4:6)

We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory.(Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35, Hebrews 4:15, John 2:11, Hebrews 9:12, Colossians 1:14, John 11:25, Acts 1:11, Revelations 19:11-16)

We believe that man is sinful by nature and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and an absolute necessity for his salvation.(Romans 3:19, 23, John 3:16-19, Ephesians 2:18-19, Titus 3:5-6)

We believe in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.(Ephesians 4:30, Ephesians 5:18, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they who are saved unto eternal life and they who are lost unto eternal damnation. (John 5:28-29)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.(Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28)

We believe in the creation of man by the direct act of God.(Genesis 1:26-28, 5:1-2)

In regards to Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen 1:26-27). Rejections of one's biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. Hidden Acres recognizes an individual's gender as that which is denoted on that person's birth certificate as presented from a recognized authority of the State of Texas or other such governing body authorized to issue birth certificates for their citizens.

We believe that the term"marriage" has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Gen 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (I Cor 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb 13:4). We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside a marriage between a man and a woman.

We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including but not limited to adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest and the use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God (Mt 15:18-20; I Cor 6:9-10).

We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of Hidden Acres as a local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model to its supporters and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by Hidden Acres in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, agree to and abide by this Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality, and for people who rent or use our facilities to understand our stance on this issue (Mt. 5:16; Phil 2:14-16; I Thes 5:22)

We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Acts 3:19-21;Rm 10:9-10; I Cor 6:9-11; I Jn 1:9).

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mk12:28-31; Lk 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Hidden Acres.
