Registration Information
Welcome to OAKS at Camp Skholē! We’re so glad you’re interested in joining our Christ-centered community of learning and leadership. Registration is designed to honor our teachers, guides, and returning families while also welcoming new families into the program. Please read through the details below carefully so you’ll know how to prepare for the upcoming year.
Registration Order
Registration will open in the following order:
Executive Committee
Executive Committee Assistants
OAKS and Mini-Mester Teachers
OAKS Nature Guides
Returning families participating in all programming (Fall/Spring OAKS Leadership Program + Fall/Spring Mini-Mesters)
Returning families participating in limited programming
New families participating in all programming (Fall/Spring OAKS Leadership Program + Fall/Spring Mini-Mesters)
New families participating in limited programming
Note: The order of yearly survey submission will also help guide placement within registration groups.
New Families: Parents/Guardians & Students
To join our program, new families must complete the following:
Oldest child must be 5 years old by September 1st of the enrollment year.
Complete the Prospective Family Information Form.
Submit a completed Confidential Reference.
Attend a Prospective Family Information Meeting.
Have your full application reviewed and approved by the Executive Steering Committee.
Understand that space may be limited based on returning family registration.
Complete and pass a background check.
Returning Families: Parents/Guardians & Students
Returning families must remain in good standing by:
Completing the pre-registration form, which includes Handbook Acknowledgment.
Submitting a Guardianship Form, if applicable.
Adhering to the Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith.
Paying all fees in full by required deadlines.
Meeting the minimum Service Hour Requirements.
Following all guidelines, expectations, and participation policies.
If utilizing the Servant Leadership Scholarship, fulfilling all requirements.
Completing and passing an annual background check.

Learn about our program – Read through our OAKS and Mini-Mester pages to see if our Christ-centered learning community is a good fit for your family.
E-mail us to be added to our waiting list.
Fill out the Prospective Family Information Form – This helps us get to know your family’s needs and goals.
Provide a Confidential Reference – A trusted mentor, pastor, or leader can complete this on your behalf.
Attend a Prospective Family Meeting – Meet our leadership team and learn more about how OAKS functions.
Submit your application – Once complete, it will be reviewed by the Executive Steering Committee.
Wait for approval & space availability – Returning families register first; new family registration is based on availability.
Complete a background check – Required for all parents/guardians.
